The SCI-Network - Sustainable Construction & Innovation through Procurement - was co-funded by the European Commission's CIP programme through the Lead Market Initiative (LMI).

The LMI is aimed at lowering barriers to bringing new products or services onto the market in six key sectors, including construction. It sees public procurement as a key demand-side trigger for innovation.
